About North Sydney

North Sydney is a suburb much preferred by Advertising and Information Technology companies. It is just 3 kilometres away from the Sydney Central Business District. Despite being mainly commercial but is low on options for shopping. It is also not operational on Sundays.

The area has had a long association with the tram system. The trams began their journey here in 1886, and eventually came to a grinding halt in 1958. Today, it is trains and the roads that connect it to the Central Business District. You will also find a number of heritage buildings here.
